Water Project — A Drop in the Bucket, Heat Waves, Life is Swell, Drenched, Water is God, Quench, Thirst

Born and raised in the desert, Caleb was used to not having any source of water nearby. He moved to Los Angeles near the end of the longest California drought on record (2015) and dispite all the lack, he found himself spending every free moment in or thinking about the ocean. Water consumed him. This series examines our relationship with water- to be made mostly of water and sourrounded mostly by water, and to still be in constant need of water. Photographs from 2015-2023.
